CX dashboards and reporting

We design reporting around roles and decisions, so each person who opens a dashboard can see what to do next. On Qualtrics we can build it ourselves. On other tools we hand the design to whoever builds it. Either way, we help train the people who'll use it.

When it helps

Signs you need this.

  • One dashboard tries to serve everyone.
  • People export to spreadsheets to get what they need.
  • Senior leaders and frontline managers see the same pages.
  • Reports show scores without causes.

How we do it

How we design dashboards.

  1. Roles

We list who needs reporting and what each person decides with it.

  2. Content

For each role we define the few measures, cuts and comparisons that matter.

  3. Design

We lay out pages so the main message is readable in seconds, with detail one click away.

  4. Build

Dashboards, filters, permissions and scheduled reports are configured, by us on Qualtrics or by your team, and tested with the people who'll use them.

  5. Adoption

We train users and agree how changes are requested, so the dashboards stay tidy.

What you get

What you have at the end.

  • A reporting map: which role sees what
  • Wireframes agreed before the build
  • Built and tested dashboards with role-based access
  • A short user guide for each audience
  • A change process

What we need from you.

  • A list of roles and what each needs to decide
  • Access to the data sources and existing dashboards
  • A few users from each role to test with
  • An owner for change requests after launch

Questions

Questions you may have.

Which tools do you work with?

We can build Qualtrics dashboards ourselves. For other tools we provide the design and work with your BI team on the build.

Can you fix dashboards we already have?

Yes. We start by finding out who uses them and for what, then simplify.

How many dashboards do we need?

One view per role is usually enough, with filters doing the work that separate dashboards do today.
